The project is located in the Kingdom of Cambodia in mainland Southeast Asia. The site originally relied on reservoir water as its primary water source. The project now uses seawater as the raw water source and applies reverse osmosis technology to treat seawater into drinking water, helping meet local water demand.
The treated water complies with the applicable National Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water.
